depression
depression sits on the bench alone, staring off into the rain. she wears her worn blue jeans and sweat shirt- not caring about what anyone thinks. she'll listen to her iPod on full volume to drown out the guilt inside. depression is the one you see at lunch; laughing too hard, smiling too much, and eating too little- it's all a show. she hides beneath her mask and hopes no one will see what she truly is. depression says, "no, there's nothing wrong- i'm fine," when she's dying inside. she'll do whatever it takes to keep you from knowing the truth, even though she's hurting. depression finds no reason to live; and she thinks her world is coming
